Treating Acne – Chemical

Alrighty, folks. You want to get rid of that acne quick time, here are some chemicals that you can use!

  1. For those acne that are caused by the accumulation of bacterial cells in your pores (whiteheads, papules and pustules), you’re going to want to treat them with some sort of chemical agent that kills bacteria. This will prevent the bacteria from growing further. Two common chemicals are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. These will kill the bacteria and also causes the skin around the pore to peel, which will stimulate your skin to regrow. Make sure to dab the smallest amount of a 2.5% concentration. Seriously. You don’t want to expose your skin to too many chemicals.
  2. You can also crush a few tablets aspirin and turn it into a paste with some drops of water to reduce the redness of pimples. Aspirin has a natural anti-inflammatory chemical, so it will reduce the inflammation of your pimple!
  3. A tiny swab of tea tree oil can also kill bacteria! A bit confusing, seeing as it has the word oil in it, but it actually won’t clog your pores. And, really, a tiny swab using a cotton swab is all you need. Too much can burn your skin. It’ll take a little more time than benzoyl peroxide, but it thought to be safer to use.
  4. For reducing the size of pimples, a little bit of toothpaste can also do the trick. Weird right? I would save this as a last resort though, if you have any of the other things in your household, they’ll be more effective!

If you have a cyst or nodule, I suggest that you go to your doctor because they might have better creams for your purposes. There is also the extreme of getting a steroid shot, but those are pricey.

I know, the last one is strange. Why would toothpaste be able to help reduce the size of pimples? Well, we’re talking  brushing your teeth next week and toothpaste the week after, so you’ll find out then!
